We have tried to include every possible spare you could need to ensure you get the very best out of your fish pond. If you need something that isn’t here, just let us know!

We would say Fish Mate fish pumps are relatively easy to service. There isn’t much to go wrong with them and they have been designed to be as robust and as reliable as possible.

When you do need to service the pump, as long as you have the right tools, the correct service kit and a little patience, anyone, at any skill level can successfully service a pump.

Our fish pond accessories page does include replacement biological filter mediums for pond filters. The pack includes 240m2 of biological surface to effectively keep your pond water clean and your fish healthy.

The replacement comes in a convenient box and can replace worn medium quickly and without any mess. Simply empty out the old and dispose of responsibly and replace with the new.

Don’t be tempted to push the cat through as this can cause a negative association. Cats are bright, give them the motivation and they can figure the rest out themselves!

The size and type of UV lamp in your pond filter depends on the model. Each filter includes a list of exactly what it includes and references to help with replacement parts.

Unfortunately, we aren’t in a position to be able to service the products we sell. We do work tirelessly to ensure all Fish Mate products are of the highest quality and as reliable as possible to ensure they don’t need servicing too often though.

We also supply all the parts you need for servicing the product and instructions on using those parts. If you get stuck or need assistance when ordering, just contact us and we’ll help however we can.

How long shipping takes depends on where in the world you are. We typically ship all orders the next day to minimise delay. We appreciate that you typically need Fish Mate spares quickly so do everything we can to get them to you fast.
