Great quality cat flap

Really well made cat flap. Easy to install and looks great. No draughts around the door in winter and door swings smoothly for cats to come inand out. Very easy to link up with cats microchip and the various door entry options are very useful. Customer service from Closer Pets is wonderful too, someone actually answers the call if you ring them and are so helpful. Highly recommended product, we have two.

Any cat gets in

When lock is in open position so the our cat can get in and out, flap still allows entry for any cat but no exit, our cat cat can get out as flap reads microchip. Any help would be appreciated

Works Great

Perfect for my needs. I rent an apartment, so punching a hole in my door was a no-go. Instead I purchased a slab of plexiglass and cut it fit for a open sliding window with a standard sliding window lock.

How does the Cat Mate 360 microchip cat flap work?

The Cat Mate 360 uses RFID technology to read your cat's existing 15-digit ISO microchip. When your cat pushes against the flap to enter, it scans their chip and unlocks only for registered cats, keeping other animals out. All cats (registered or not) can exit freely unless you manually lock the flap.

How many cats can I program into the Cat Mate 360?

The Cat Mate 360 can program up to 30 cats, making it ideal for multi-cat households or even small catteries. Each cat is registered using their unique microchip or a Pet Mate I.D. Disc collar tag.

What size cats can use the Cat Mate 360 cat flap?

The Cat Mate 360 is designed for small to average-sized cats. The flap opening measures 145mm x 145mm (5.7" x 5.7"). The overall external dimensions are 197mm wide x 246mm high.

Will the Cat Mate 360 work in my door or wall?

Yes! The Cat Mate 360 self-lines to 85mm (3 3/8") thick, making it suitable for wooden doors, UPVC doors, metal doors, single/multiple glazing, and walls. For thicker walls, use wall liner tunnel sections. Glass panels and some UPVC/metal doors require an adapter kit for optimal microchip sensing.

How long do batteries last and is it draught-proof?

The Cat Mate 360 runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) lasting approximately 12 months with normal use. A built-in low battery indicator alerts you when replacement is needed. The flap features full brush sealing with magnetic closure, making it completely draught-proof and weather-sealed.

Does the Cat Mate 360 come with a warranty and are spare parts available?

Yes! The Cat Mate 360 includes a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Replacement flaps, wall liner tunnel sections, and adapter kits are readily available to ensure your cat flap lasts for years.

*Please note that microchips with 10 digits and lettered characters are not currently compatible with this cat flap.

UPVC Doors or Wooden doors with interior metal panels over 35mm thick also require an adapter kit to aid sensing of the cat.
