Description
Any number of these paintable 50mm / 5cm / 2" cat flap tunnels for walls can be added to the following products to enable easy wall installation for the following products:
- Cat Mate Lockable Cat Flap with Wall Liner (Ref. 234)
- Closer Pets 4-Way Locking Flap with Wall Liner (Ref. 235).
Each cat flap wall tunnel is 50mm / 5cm / 2" long, so if you need a 20cm tunnel, you'd need four.
These pet door accessories can be cut down. For instance, if you need a 22cm tunnel, you can buy five and cut one down by 3cm.
We recommend adding a thin bead of sealant between each liner to create a moisture-resistant tunnel, and then wrapping the outside of the joint with duct tape. This will mean that the tunnel stays solid and is much easier to handle.

We recently took in 2 cats which seemed to have been abandoned in our area- somebody moving house etc? We started feeding them then they decided to move in permanently, as cats do! The best place for a cat flap involved the outside brick wall & the tunnel was the answer. It clicked together in minutes & our son in law (in the building trade) installed it in an hour. We fixed the flap open and within the hour both cats entered via the tunnel. The next day they mastered entering with the flap down. Job done! The funnel is well made & so easy to put together & the cats love it- no more us being their servants & opening the patio door all the time!
Essential for new extensions with wider walls. Would have appreciated a bulk buy as £10 each section made the cat flap pricey for 4 sections plus postage. Easy to click together and cut down.
I needed two of these to fill the full depth of my exterior wall. The cats can get in and out and it only took a few minutes to install. However, two extenders made for an exact fit. If your wall is a little narrower or deeper you'll need to cut it down, so make sure you have a hacksaw or table saw on hand.
Delivery extremely quick. Product asdescribed however the price of these when buying a number of them is expensive. I needed them to go through a new extension wall that measures 38cms.
