Stainless Steel Bowl Inserts for Closer Pets MiBowl Automatic Microchip Pet Feeder

Previously had the Surefeed microchip feeder, but this is a nicer upgrade!
Having 2 cats where one is a bit of a fiend for food, this was a great solution to our problem.
Now our older cat can (mostly) eat in peace, and the inclusion of the stainless steel insert + ice packs means her food stays fresh all day.
Even if our other cat does try her luck, the lid closes almost immediately, so she's completely locked out of stealing any food.

Stopped shy of giving 5 stars, as there is quite a delay from when the paired cat approaches to when the lid eventually opens - not sure if it's the range being too restrictive or sensor too weak, but it did lead to a bit of difficulty when getting my cat used to the new feeder.
A quicker response, or the ability to adjust the timings yourself would be great, otherwise no complaints! :)

Great goods

This is expensive for what it is. Although it is very useful once I figured out how to use it! I didn’t realise it was an insert to drop inside the existing plastic bowl. If cat eats wet and dry it’s great for giving wet food without having to tip dry food out of the plastic one below. Of course it does mean you need to be around to take it out again which defeats the objective of the mibowl auto feeder if you are away for any length of time.
