Great fountain for a single cat

Our ceramic foutain arrived yesterday. Before we decided to buy it, we had watched all the useful videos Closerpets have uploaded to youtube about this fountain, so we had an idea about assembly and maintenance. As described in the quick start document from the box we cleaned the ceramic and silicone bits, pre-soaked the filter and then put it together. The filter stayed in position perfectly. The fountain's pump is hardly audible and the water sound is delicate. It is also very pleasing to look at. The USB cable has a good length to position the fountain where we want it in the room. We put it in our bedroom directly on the laminate floor. No spillage, no vibration noise. Very pleased with this item.

Pleasantly surprised!

I love this fountain! Ticks a lot of boxes for me; well-priced, hygienic (ceramic), dishwasher-safe, well-designed & well-made.
It's very quiet, with only the sound of the running water being audible, which is actually pleasant white noise.

The negative reviews & overall rating are somewhat deceptive at the time of writing, IMO - if you set it up correctly, I don't see any of the issues arising, and you can just take a jug of water to it to refill, which a lot of people seemed to be frustrated by..

My one 'criticism' is that the rubber gasket between the tray and bowl is quite hidden in the packaging - it's nested in foam that shares the same colour, so I can see a lot of people throwing it out accidentally if they don't know it's there.

My kitten likes it too! Curious at first and swatting at it and watching intently, but definitely drinking more than she did from a bowl.

Overall, you can't go wrong with this unit for the price

Underwhelming

My cat won't go near it as the water comes up from the base quite forcefully. She doesn't like the noise the water makes either . I filled it to the max line but when I got up the following morning the light was flashing red / blue . I looked in the base to see it was half empty and the realised the unit was standing in a puddle of water. I don't feel this is the unit for me or the cat . I'm going to see if a can return it to Pets at Home where I bought it . I liked the concept but it didn't live up to expectation .

Amazing!

My cat is allergic to plastic and stainless steel and I have been looking for years for a ceramic water fountain so I was thrilled to find this. My cat loves it and has had no allergic reaction. Thankyou SO MUCH! Please can you now make the automatic wet and dry feeders with ceramic trays! Honestly this pump has been a game changer.
