Intelligent and worth it!

We bought this intelligent self-cleaning cat toilet for our three six‑month‑old Oriental kittens and overall it’s been a huge time-saver and surprisingly cat‑friendly.

Setup and first impressions
Setup was straightforward and the unit feels solid and well‑built. At 65.8 × 48 × 73 cm it’s roomy enough for all three kittens to explore comfortably. They were extremely curious at first but adjusted within a couple of days.
We trained them by moving their litter tray next to the new ‘kitty loo’ and then changing cat litter type and then removing the old tray once we were confident it was being used. The app was very helpful in showing which cat was using the loo and establishing the data pattern that enabled us to make the switch.

Cleaning, waste handling and litter top‑up
The 3‑minute delay and the sensors that pause if a cat comes within ~30 cm work exactly as described — no surprises while they’re inside. The auto top‑up with five reservoirs is clever; with three young, active kittens we don’t get the full 14 days, but it still cut our scooping/maintenance to nearly zero. The 8L waste tray and biodegradable bags make disposal tidy; to keep on top of things in the current summer heatwave we are having we empty the tray every two to three days.

App, monitoring and hygiene
The smartphone app is very handy: real‑time notifications for visits, low litter alerts, and weight logs let us monitor each kitten’s growth and spot any changes quickly. The app’s history charts make it easy to compare patterns between the three kittens, and push notifications mean we don’t miss important alerts. UVC sterilisation and continuous deodorisation noticeably reduce odor compared with a regular tray.

Truly hands‑free day‑to‑day care, sensible safety features, roomy for multiple kittens, neat waste containment, and helpful app analytics.
It also stopped our dogs from trying to eat cat litter !!

Minor drawbacks
It’s mains‑powered so placement needs planning. We had an electrician run a new socket for us in our hallway. With three kittens the litter top‑up runs faster than the advertised 14 days, so expect more frequent refills with multi‑cat households. The unit is big — great for comfort, but takes space.

Bottom line
For busy owners of energetic kittens (or multiple adult cats) this machine is worth it — it dramatically reduces daily chores while keeping the litter area cleaner and safer for the cats.
